Steves Lesson
For the first one, the fashion shoot with colourful clothes we came up with as following;
- to find one or more models, figure what days they can do together or separately
- find out what days the studio is free and make sure the models or model is free on that day
- find the clothes, maybe from a charity store or from a family member or even yoyr own closet.
- Make sure each model has more than one outfit just in case one doesn't mix with the theme or background
- find a background available in the studio that contrasts well with the chosen outfits
- possibly get a new memory card to put the photos in
- what lighting set up works? I would use high key for this to really show off the clothes
- contingency plan. this is a professional way of saying backup plan
- show your e mails between models/ messages screenshots
- hair and makeup!
For the second one, Landscapes from Brighton beach;
- what equipment will you need? maybe bring a bag filled with both macro and usual lenses just in case
- find a day which suits you and also has good lighting and weather to achieve the best shots
- find a good spot, maybe go another day before to find a new spot and take a few test shots
- google maps to get a good feel of the place especially if you haven't visited before
These are the original notes from the day:
This was helpful for me especially because I plan to do a colourful fashion shoot for my FMP!
I also now have a day in which I can take the shots it is Wednesday 16th of may, I hope the studio is free because my model can do the specific date however i may shoot a different one on another date too.
